Our Dance Team is a much-loved part of life at Burnley Road, giving children the opportunity to express themselves, build confidence and work together creatively.

This year, our dancers have shown real commitment and enthusiasm, attending rehearsals regularly and supporting one another to perfect their routines. Their hard work was showcased when they performed at the regional heats of The Great Big Dance Off, where they represented the school beautifully.

Their routine to This Is Me perfectly reflected our school values, celebrating individuality, confidence and belonging. It was a powerful reminder of how dance can bring children together and give them the courage to perform with pride. The team also performed for the whole school, inspiring others with their energy and teamwork.

Dance at Burnley Road is about more than performance. It’s about developing self-belief, resilience and a sense of achievement. We are incredibly proud of our dancers and grateful to the staff who support them in creating such memorable experiences.

We look forward to seeing the team continue to grow and inspire others across the school.
